This website was created on March 12, 2002 to bring all of the great MAARTEN WORKS games to everybody in the world. MAARTEN WORKS was founded in the summer of 1998 by Maarten Franks. Since then it has made over 50 computer games of almost every genre imaginable and more. Maarten Franks was born in The Netherlands (Holland) on May 28, 1986. He wants to become a Herpetologist but makes computer games as a hobby and as a backup.

A new section has been added to MAARTEN WORKS as of May 5, 2002. The new section is MAARTEN WORKS HERPETOLOGY. The site is about reptiles and amphibians and saving the planet. It also contains articles that Maarten Franks made and a comprehensive list of all of the reptiles and amphibians in Holt, Michigan. It's a pretty site with tons of wildlife pictures and it also includes a biography of Maarten's life. Click on the link below to check it out.
